Chigwell Community House

On 14 April 2008, Chigwell Community House’s new Mission Australia Centre was officially opened by the Minister for Health and Human Services, the Hon Lara Giddings MP, and Mission Australia Chief Executive Officer, Toby Hall.

Parliament VS Media Cricket Match

On 17 March 2008, the Parliament challenged the Media to a game of cricket, to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. Graeme got a couple of wickets and took a catch, but in the end, the young blood from the Media prevailed, winning by 27 runs.
