Motorcycle Safety Initiatives

On March 26 Graeme was a guest at DECA (Driver Education Centre of Australia) Training in Moonah, where the Minister for Transport Jim Cox introduced two new Motorcycle Safety Measures.
The minimum age for getting a Motorcycle Learners Licence will be raised from 16 years to 16 years 6 months from 1 July 2007.

New Animal Hospital

On March 26 Graeme opened the new Elise Cameron Veterinary Clinic at the Southern RSPCA Shelter at Mornington
The Clinic is a first for the RSPCA and will provide discounted de-sexing and healthcare of pets for low income Tasmanians.

Sturgo goes to the Dogs!

The North Hobart Football Club conducted a fundraising evening of Greyhound Racing at Tattersalls Park on March 15.
Graeme was the proud sponsor of the 2nd race, the Graeme Sturges MHA Juvenile Stakes.

Zebra’s U/13 Soccer

On March 4, Graeme attended a barbecue with the Zebras Under 13’s Soccer CLub to “kick off” the season.
Graeme is extremely proud to support the young Zebra’s and it gave him a great deal of pleasure to present them with a cheque as his contribution to an Encouragement Award for young players.
